Software engineer investment platform & infrastructure São paulo, brazil (on-Site) Point break is a private investment fund backed by a group of highly successful brazilian entrepreneurs, investing across fixed income, global macro, and public and private equities, with teams in miami and são paulo. We are hiring a software engineer to build and maintain a centralized platform that supports our day-To-Day work by automating routines, improving the research process, and making extensive use of artificial intelligence in all relevant ways. It is a major long-Term investment for point break: the firms partners are deeply involved in shaping the platform, and the person in this role will work closely with them. Job duties/responsibilities Collaborate with all the teams to map existing workflows, data sources, and tools across the firm. Consolidate isolated scripts and systems into a robust, centralized platform with shared tooling for daily us by different teams (research, trading, operations, legal, etc). Set up repositories, environments, and hosting integrate ai tools (via apis/mcp) with market data and research workflows. Define and maintain robust standards for version control, security, and technical documentation. Collaborate with partners to prioritize features, define the product roadmap, and act as the primary tech contact for the firm. Requirements Education: bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field. Experience: 35 years of experience as a software engineer or in a similar role. Full-Stack development experience, including building, deploying, and operating infrastructure in production. Languages: english is required most of the investment teams materials and data sources are in english. Profile: self-Directed and pragmatic, with a strong sense of ownership.
