Leading a kafka team at a large global financial corporation requirements: 5+ years experience as a software development tech lead this position requires a highly senior profile, with extensive experience in technical leadership. 5+ years experience with apache kafka technology 5+ years experience with microservices (and distributed systems) 3+ years experience with schema registry information security knowledge for data streaming solutions (ex: Authentication, authorization, encryption) scrum / agile methodology experience nice to have: Previous experience with international projects english: Advanced or fluent (mandatory). Activities & responsibilities: Technically lead the team responsible for developing kafka solutions, ensuring alignment with the architecture, best practices and company policies. Design and lead the implementation of complex kafka solutions, including architectural decisions, technology selection and standards definition. Responsible for the architecture, documentation and maintenance of the kafka infrastructure and solutions. Make technical decisions and provide guidance to the team regarding best practices, coding standards and relevant technologies. Actively participate in the definition and prioritization of the technical backlog, aligned with business needs. Design and implement message production and consumption solutions using kafka technologies. Oversee and ensure the quality of the code and implemented solutions.
