Mate academy - an EdTech startup with a gamified, AI-friendly LMS platform where people learn IT specialties. Our mission is to help 1 million people worldwide build their careers in IT. Already, 3000+ graduates have landed their first IT jobs in just 4 months of training. Since 2022 we`ve started our activity in Poland and continue our international expansion. We are looking for our best Student coordinator in Brazil. Your mission is to support students at every stage of their learning journey, from entry interview to placement. What will you need to succeed: - Excellent communication skills - Understanding of the IT market - Ability to control every student in groups of 20-30 people - Be proactive in decision-making and proposing ways for employment juniors - English - B2+, Portuguese - native Your advantage will be: - Experience in PM, HR, coordinator roles - Desire to learn how technologies work ‘under the hood’ and pass our basic courses (HTML/CSS, JS, SQL, Java) Your tasks: - Work with our mentors on effective teaching processes - Manage classes attendance and homework performance by students - Be empathic and motivate students when they need it - Help students create competitive CVs and cover letters after they finish courses - Support students during their employment process (control their application to vacancies, advise on passing the recruitment process) - Monitor IT marker (amount of vacancies, job boards updates, etc.) - Recruit part-time mentors - Work with CRM and LMS systems Work cases: - Onboarding students to help them begin their studying process - Ensuring smooth and timely communication with all the students helping them overcome obstacles in their studying - Using cultural nuances knowledge to localize processes - Helping hire & onboard mentors What you'll find at Mate: - Mission to train 1M people around the globe - Freedom to make own decisions and influence business - Remote, full-time role - 0 bu
